My life revolves around the sea . I work as a fisherman and slowly but surely my photography has taken hold of my every thought . The relationship I have forged with the coast of Cornwall runs deep and I have a great knowledge of its coastline from land and by sea . If I can capture the magic  and create a silver gelatin darkroom print that conveys what I love about this place then I have succeeded !    


These days I only use film cameras . The whole process fascinates me from the moment I press  the shutter to Darkroom printing and mounting and framing images 

The pinnacle is to see my work on the wall or to hand someone a fresh print that I have spent hours perfecting in the darkroom .  I shoot 35 mm Medium Format and also Large Format
